How the Precision Therapy Sauna Works

Precision Therapy Hemlock Four-Person Ceramic Heater Far Infrared Sauna utilizes six ceramic heaters with output power of up to 2400 watts. The interior wire is wound tightly around glass tubes to emit the correct far infrared waves. These heaters are strategically placed on the back wall (four units) and under the bench (two units).

The use of a ceramic heater for the generation far infrared waves is considered a beneficial feature as opposed to the popular carbon pipe heating solution. Radiation in the form of electromagnetic frequency emissions have been found to be harmful with prolonged exposure. Everyday products such as microwaves, alarm clocks, and heaters can produce powerful EMF emissions at toxic levels.

Ceramic heaters have been found to produce less EMF emissions and affect a much smaller area. The area of danger with carbon heaters reaches greater than a one foot radius. Ceramic heaters emit EMF at lower levels and the radius is much smaller, not reaching greater than four inches. The product, has made no claims to be EMF safe.

Precision Therapy Sauna Specifications

Exterior room size is 72” x 49” with a height of 75”. The interior room is 68” x 45” with a height of 72”. The operating temperature range is from 130F to 140F, heating from 70F to 120F in around 15-30 minutes. The room in constructed with solid wood with approximately 40 boards ensuring tight fit and less heat loss. The interior is made with sanded wood without glaze or gloss. The exterior utilizes a water-based finish. Hemlock wood is used all throughout the boards.

Doors and windows utilize tempered glass that will shatter into harmless pieces instead of dangerous shards. The sauna will seat four persons. Twenty amps are required to power the heating system on a 110 volt line. A magazine rack, towel rack, back rest, and interior LED lights are provided. The electronic components include a radio, air purificaiton system, and a control system with soft-touch pieces and easy-read panel. Infrared wavelength utilized is from 5.6 to 15 microns.
